Your Money Makes a Big Impact
When you donate to Southeast Missouri Food Bank your donation has a big impact—every dollar you donate provides 4 meals to struggling Southeast Missouri families! As a leader in hunger relief we serve over 55,000 individuals every month and distribute more than 8 million pounds of food.
We are proud to be recognized for excellence in the use of donated resources. Southeast Missouri Food Bank currently uses less than 5 percent of these resources for administration and fundraising, with the bulk being spent in program areas directly related to food acquisition, food distribution and nutrition education.

Another great way to donate and keep your money local is the purchase of tax credits. Southeast Missouri Food Bank currently offers two different types of tax credits. Anyone with Missouri business income is eligible for the Neighborhood Assistance Program (NAP) tax credits. The minimum donation for NAP tax credits is $1,000. Any Missouri tax-payer is eligible for the Missouri Food Pantry tax credit. Their is no minimum donation for the Food Pantry tax credit but the maximum is $2,500.
