Southeast Missouri Food Bank works with partners, such as businesses, churches and civic organizations, to hold mobile food distributions in communities throughout our service area. During these distributions, we take a truck filled with various food items to a location where volunteers distribute the food.
People needing food assistance should visit a mobile food pantry in the community or county where they live. Please bring a photo ID and a piece of mail that establishes proof of residence, such as a utility bill. We also suggest bringing a box or laundry basket to carry the food received during a mobile distribution. Groups wishing to host a Mobile Food Pantry may contact us at 573-471-1818.
Most pantry and mobile distributions are being held as drive-throughs. Please have a space cleared in your trunk or back seat for volunteers to place a prepacked box of food. These distributions are limited to one box per household.
