Become an Advocate

Decisions made by our elected officials impact social programs and funding for charitable food assistance. We advocate for systemic changes to permanently eradicate hunger in America. A strong and accessible nutrition safety net is required to complement the supplemental food that food banks are able to provide.

Our advocacy work helps connect community voices, issues and stories that illustrate hunger needs to elected officials and public policy-makers. You can learn more about these issues by following the food bank on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter or Linked In, or sign up to receive our newsletter or email updates.

You can also receive text alerts regarding advocacy efforts by texting the keyword "call2action" to the number 51555.
