When you donate to Southeast Missouri Food Bank your donation has a big impact —every dollar you donate can help provide 4 meals to southeast Missouri families facing hunger. As the primary hunger-relief organization in the region, we serve 70,000 individuals every month and distribute nearly a million pounds of food per month.
The food bank is a registered 501c, and Charity Navigator has awarded us its highest possible rating for our adherence to ethical practices. More than 96 percent of donations we receive are put back into programs, with less than 4 percent used for administration and operations.

To make a gift by mail, send your check payable to Southeast Missouri Food Bank to P.O. Box 190, Sikeston, MO 63801. A gift my phone can be made by calling 573-471-1818 during regular business hours.
The food bank also participates in two state tax credit programs. People with business, farm or rental property may qualify for 50 percent tax credits through the Neighborhood Assistance Program (NAP). The minimum donation for NAP tax credits is $1,000. Food Pantry Tax Credits are also available. There is no minimum donation for Food Pantry Tax Credits, and the maximum is $2,500.

Because Southeast Missouri Food Bank respects your privacy and personal information, we make the following promises:
- Southeast Missouri Food Bank does not sell, trade, or rent our supporters’ names.
- The Food Bank collects and uses donor information such as name, address, telephone number and email address only when it is voluntarily provided to us.
- Any donor’s request for anonymity will be honored.
- Any donor’s request to be removed from Southeast Missouri Food Bank’s mailing or email list will be honored.
